Another week is starting and before we know it June will be past us. It is amazing how quickly the months are flying by. My oldest son who will be a freshman in high school next school year started his first day of football workouts today. My husband and I had to laugh a bit when he came home and talked about how the coach worked them. I don’t think he realized how much he was really going to have to work. So he will be spending a good deal of his summer doing workouts, practice and conditioning for football.
Now Delilah and I spend way too much of our summer break being glued to Pinterest. We have become hugely addicted to all the pretty things, yummy food, and clever ideas you can find on Pinterest. With our love for this wonderful site Delilah thought this week she would share her favorite pins from Pinterest. This is Delilah’s picks for this week…
1. No Heat Curls
First pinned by Amy Ebersole onto Hairstyles. This great how-to post links you to a wonderful video on YouTube that show you a great way to get some wonderful curls without using any HEAT. Delilah and I both agreed that this is a must have how-to for us to add to our hairstyle arsenal.
2. Ottoman
I think Delilah and I actually squealed OUT LOUD when we seen this next pin! First pinned by Amy Webb onto furniture love, everything about this ottoman is perfection! It compliments the living room pictured beautifully! We both agree we want one!
3. Staircase Typography
First pinned by Baboulina onto For the Home this staircase spoke to the typography addict in us. The fun red with the white typography adds so much fun and interest to what would typically be a boring, everyday set of stairs.
4. Photobooth Props
Photobooths are fast becoming a huge thing for parties and events. They are a great way to capture images and have a little fun while doing it. First pinned by Jenni Smith onto Reception Decor, this set of photobooth props just put a little smile on our face.
5. Framed Fabric Covered Corkboard
This next pin, Delilah thought would be a wonderful project for us to try out. First pinned by KirstenL4W onto Crafts to Make, this DIY project show you how to take a fabulous frame, beautiful fabric, and some corkboard to make your own stylish place to keep notes, photos, and more.
That is all for this weeks series of Delilah’s Picks. Check back to see what other goodies Delilah has found across the web next week.
