Creative team member Danica here with my picks for this months gallery standouts! And this is the last standout post of twenty fourteen. Wow! Where did the year go? I can certainly say that as I get older, the year seem to go by much more quickly than the year before. Do you feel the same way? Before I go off on some tangent, let’s take a look at those layouts!
What is not to love about this layout from AJM? Love the crop of her photo, the Polaroid style frame framing it, the paint splotches and the star scatters! Okay, I love it all!!
How adorable is this photo? Definitely a giggle box in the making! Connie’s design focuses on the repetition of circles and she executes this element throughout her layout! From her round confetti to the flairs and even her background paper, it’s endless circles of goodness.
Cookies by Nietis is my next pick. This layout is full of holiday splendor. Love all the gingerbread men and her snowflake scatter. She has layers galore and I love her attention to detail.
I can’t find anything negative to say about the next layout by lovely1m called Negative. Love the selfies and all the grungie goodness. Her use of multiple wordarts and scatters of elements pull the layout together nicely. Well done!
Next up is LaShawn with her layout called Happy. Love the stacked papers and how adorable are those photos!?!? Her journaling is heartfelt and I am sure her boys will cherish what she had to say about them in years to come.
My last pick is from scrappurple called no one. The diagonal journaling is great and I love hoe she stitched the journaling card to her photo and the minimalist use of elements. Quite a lovely page indeed!
Those are my picks today! Remember to keep posting in the Tickled Pink gallery, and who knows, your layout may be chosen as stand out next time!
Happy New Year everyone!
