Today’s post is short and simple, but it comes with a very helpful FREEBIE for my Project Life peeps!
As you can probably tell from my last post, Creating Your Project Life Plan For 2015, I’m getting ready for the new year by prepping myself (and my computer) for Project Life 2015. Last year I decided to sort my photos by week to help when it comes time to work on my spreads. When I uploaded my photos to my computer, I copied them from my memory cards and pasted them right into the week that they belonged in. It was super easy when I sorted them by date created. I could open up my week folders and open up my photos, and look at the dates to see where they went! It was SO helpful! I decided to create the folders for you to be able to organize your photos the same way!
Have a look at what I mean:
So when I went to work on my spreads for Week 1, I just opened up my week 1 folder and BAM! All my photos were right there! No looking & trying to sort through all the pics from my DSLR, my point and shoot & my phone. By using these folders, all my pics ended up getting put right where I needed them to be!
I’ve included Sunday – Saturday dated folders as well as a Monday – Sunday dated folders so you can choose how you would like to start your week!
Download your Week Folders from Dropbox HERE.
I hope you find these helpful and that they add another organizational tool to help keep you on track for 2015! Let me know how you like them! And don’t forget to share them with your Project Life friends. I’ve done all the hard work for you! Don’t make someone else have to do it on their own!
Until next time!!

Thanks for doing all the hard work Janelle! I did this to organize all my photos too this past year. It will be nice having them set up in advance. Thanks again!

I organize my photos the exact same way for my weekly project… but now you’ve saved me the tedious work of creating all the folders. Thanks so much for that! 🙂

Thank you! This is great. I had made weekly folders myself, but hadn’t gotten around to dating them yet. This will save me a lot of time I can use on scrapping instead.
